What do sheep, soldiers, sports, sheep and the silver-screen all have in common? They are all aspects of New Zealand’s soft power in Southeast Asia, as I explore in this article, just published in the journal Contemporary Southeast Asia.
As part of Asia New Zealand Foundation’s inaugural Track II dialogue with the Prospect Foundation in Taiwan, in May 2012, I presented on Taiwan – New Zealand bilateral relations and my prepared remarks are now online.
